You buy a sealed package without knowing which design is inside. Each bag contains a random item, so you only discover which one you got when you open it.
The idea is to create a sense of surprise and excitement, just like opening a Pokémon booster pack. Some designs are rarer than others, which makes collecting them even more exciting.
The goal is to collect all the different designs, and maybe even find a rare or limited-edition version.
